While electronic cigarettes are not smoking cessation devices per se, the fact that the nicotine strengths come in full, medium, light, and none, suggests an obvious benefit to those trying to wean themselves off smoking. Electronic cigarettes are also very popular with smokers who want to continue smoking but want to do so in a healthier way or in places where smoking is traditionally prohibited such as bars, restaurants, the work place, or even on airplanes.
